Alakai's story begins in Honolulu, Hawaii where our founder, Lon Ho, was born and raised surrounded by the pristine Pacific and lush, green valleys of Oahu.
Lon followed his passion for food into the kitchen and cooked in some of the best kitchens in Hawaii and California.
Eventually landing on the shores of sunny Singapore, Lon found the perfect place to share the true spirit of Hawaii by taking inspiration from his memories and incorporating them with the flavours and experiences of his new surroundings.
At Alakai, we do our best to ensure that this spirit of the islands is translated into every plate that comes out of our kitchen and into your hands.
